For some reason second hand CB's tend not to be much cheaper than buying new

Thunderpole do a package ;) costs about £80 I think for a basic CB, Aerial and cable

Easy to fit if ya know what yer doing ;)

Find a mate with an SWR metre though ;) :D :D

Yer need basicly the radio an ariel , mic , speaker , dont fancy making holes in roof for arial tho but could attach to roof rack ?
Cheers

why dont you get yourself along to Lymm truck stop (the service station on the M6/M56 interchange) they have a good selection of CB gear and are really helpful too...only about 20 minutes away from you i reckon if your in Stockport

Go to starter packs on the left, you get everything you need and you know it's all compatible.

Very easy to install too :)

+1 for this guy. His prices were good as well. You can get a few £ cheaper but it's good to support people who are so helpful. There is a lot of info on his site too about installation. In the end, I rang him and talked through options before ordering over the phone. I had budgeted a lot more, so he could have sold me a much more expensive model but I went for a modest mid-range instead as I really only wanted it for offroad.

I've got a Midland rig with a mag mount, twig(cant think wot the twig is) and swr meter if ya want to make me an offer.
I will have to dig it out first and wire it up to make sure it still works though.

i wouls be interested depending on condition, price etc
Dun't want a lot for it,just rather it was used rather than sat in mi shed.
The rig case is scratched all over but it doesn't effect it's use.now't a blast of paint wouldn't cure
I've found the rig,swr and mike but not the mag mount/twig but will dig out toms when it's light.
The rubber pad that protects the paintwork from the mag mount is missing but a piece of rag/plastic does the job if your that bothered about paintwork on a landy lol

Just found an external speaker for it as well.

On Wednesday I bought one of these on eBlag knowing the seller was on holiday until today. A couple of hours ago I got a phone call saying "I'm going to Waltham Abbey later do you want me to pop it up to Harlow for you" (I ordered it to be delivered to work) Half an hour ago he dropped it into me at home in Waltham Abbey :)

Superstar seller.

ETA After totally cocking up installing this I rang Jan for advice, not only did he talk to me on a Sunday morning he said to pop round his and he would take a look. He did and it's all working now :)
