I'd never have one as they look a bit nerdy, but theyre a bit of fun/something interesting imo

From a completely unscientific, uneducated, uniformed, but ocd point of view, that looks like it should go on the off side to me. It would appear back to front on the near side I reckon.

I'm confused too.... I said we didn't drive the steepest bit, not that we didn't drive it at all. 😉 Also quite evident in the video, at this timestamp, hope it clarifies for you:

Amongst the mountain of tools and spares I take with me in the Disco, both rear paniers full and a trolley jack in the rear passengers foot well, I class gaffer tape and cable ties as the most likely to solve a problem. Both great inventions...

What about that blue one on Ebay. lt's an earlier one (but it's got the updated dash which was introduced in 2002) and not the XS so no ABS/aircon etc. ln fact it's the basic SW with vinyl seats and no central locking or electric windows...

Cheers! I think these are the correct RAVE torque settings for the FIP but I can't see the correct torque for the larger threaded bung.

I'd have to check RAVE next time I have the laptop running but it is less than you think. 90 nm sounds way too much. 25 nm sounds more likely. The high pressure pipes just need nipping up so they don't leak. Finger tips tight using a 17 mm...

It's certainly not local, and after receiving those further photographs and the very helpful input from you both it's definitely a no-go, but it's all good experience. The hunt continues although there's barely any 110s about. It's a big...

2003 L322 td6 Hi folks, Had an issue with an intercooler hose that had come off at the egr valve which I sorted but now I've got a suspension issue. I mention the intercooler pipe because the suspension issue started just after I had the boost...

RAVE says always use a new bolt as it is a stretch bolt. Sone say you can reuse them a few times but I wouldn't risk it!

Why not try a "wanted" advert on here, and the other popular Land Rover forum is worth putting a "wanted" message on as well.

Sadly yes having looked at those pictures the chassis doesn't look good particularly at the rear.

Well aren't the slopes there for water displacement as well as heat dissipation? I would in that case follow the way car and motorcycle tyre tread considering they rotate in the same direction. So to the rear of the car would make sense to me...

That's what I did with mine - 2 zip ties. On a german Forum somebody helped me out with this useful tip: You can get the exact same connector from a 1999-2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They used it on the automatic gearbox wiring. Part number...
