If you'd stop being a Freelanderer your misses would stop knocking you about with it & the pan will last longer. 🤣

I dont think anything belongs to me, in fact we are just a meir passing in this time scape. If you haven't already got your answer the maybe it hasn't yet been done. Go and do it and then you can preach but until you've done it,... I'm not going...

The wait will be over when someone who knows if the 2.76 diff will fit into my 2002 Range Rover L322 or not answers the question. Or if someone knows of some other technical mechanical reason why that diff cannot go in my car. As opposed to...

Why would I go and buy two differentials that might not fit when I can just come here and ask a question that somebody might know the answer to? This has nothing to do with my gearbox, it has to do with my engine. I don't understand why you think...

Best repost that in the freelander forum oh and Welcome

Then get on with it and stop asking questions. Most of us have experience to back it up. My 38' is programmed and puts out 170bhp since 2005 and keeps pushing. I know I can argue with the best about gearbox life and longevity. Go on, do you your...

This means something. Once you realise the wait is over.

I don't know what you are talking about. The L322 is one of the most modified Range Rovers available. People put manual gear boxes in them, coil over spring suspensions, raise them up, change the wheels, reprogram the engine computer, make the...

Sure you've bought a Fairly overdrive and not a centre pto. The centre pto has the operating lever coming out of the seat box. Never seen a Fairy overdrive linkage anywhere else other than exiting from the trans tunnel. Post a pic of the linkage...

For some reason this came into my head..... My mate sold a boat & trailer to a lad who came via the ferry as a foot passenger, he told my mate to launch the boat with the trailer ratchet strapped onto it & off he went 🤣 🤣

I've been so busy I've not had time to proactively think about ignoring which has been pretty helpful in said ignoring obviously. As I'm now less busy your posts this evening are a helpful reminder and I'll now get back to consciously ignoring...

Knock yourself out, like I said, a lot of bods run these machines within their limits because they do what they do and people are happy. If they don't do what they want then they buy something that does. Long gone are the days we're we can mod...

Leave where? This forum? The place where I came to get answers about the ability to change over the differentials, which has not yet been answered? Are you the only person that can answer this question? Are they not other people that might see...

+1 on the loctite The screw does tend to work itself abit looser during the first few heat cycles.

I meant 1,500. That is not high. It is not low. It is what it is. But 1,100 is lower. That is a fact. I have a 23 year-old engine in a car that has probably had a little maintenance in the 150k miles that it has done. I will not spend the time...

there's something else inside the right hand one doesn't look like trailer stuff. My owners manual says it's under the front right seat , which it isn't. Where it would go in the boot I just have two empty spaces meaning a big boot.

GEMS is rolling code. Not convinced the Thor is but never played with one. I also don't know if it just sends the code to start or whether it continually sends it. Both strategies were used on the diesel depending on the year. Marty scratched...
