Hi guys,
I'm pretty new here, so forgive me for any mistakes. Long story short, I left my sunroof open on a very rainy day, and the console was pretty much under water. After cleaning everything, the only problem remaining was that the D...
Hi everyone,
Could anybody help me identify these 2 parts? They are from a Landrover. Made of metal with a plastic screw top. it also slides. I feel like it is made to secure stuff but I really don't know.

Sarah
See the black arrow head symbols in @Dorset_dumpling's diagram above ? They are the earth points and will be on the body, chassis or engine near the item they are earthing.
I thought you had rebuilt the swivels already?
Did you replace the drop arm? You might aswell to discount it.
Could you not clamp the drop arm and then see if any play in the steering wheel?
Car developed a misfire on the way home Monday. I called the AA, he first had issues connecting to the ECU on the OBD port and messed a while until he eventually read some codes. Cam position sensor , TPS and misfire cylinder 5. He couldn’t get...
Here's the only picture I bothered to take on my trip to the fens.
We rode in to Cambridge for lunch. This was taken from the towpath on the CAM.

Hi all, injector leak back test done… 🫣
As expected - issues!
Please could someone be kind enough as to explain them to me? Mechanic was in a rush, said clearly 4 has excessive leak and 2 clogged. He said he didn’t know if 1 and 3 are correct...

I've tried looking from above, taking the engine cover off but couldn't see any leaks.
What's the best way to view the hoses you have mentioned? Would it be taking off the wheel & arch covers or from somewhere else?

Oh dear. I have a car with no engine, no prop shaft, lots of rusty broken bits. If I am bothering to repair it, I would like to have some fun and learn along the way. Apologies if this offended you, killjoy.
As you seem to have replaced all of the steering components already I would echo the do not assume a recon box is a good bax. however I would be also looking to check some of the other components. You say you have replaced the radius arm bushes...
Agree with the above, but if you want them to last a lifetime replace the stock pistons with stainless before refitting.
You talking about prop shafts in point B? If so just use the original style, you are not lifting and the wheel and trye...
The leak to the exhaust is likely only to get worse over time. As a short term repair [ months] you could put in some rad sealant, like Kseal [other makes available] Advertised as permanent repair but in my experience that is not so and will give...
