Sump off cleaned, primed sanded and painted. Water pump looks and spins as new so cleaned it up along with the timing case and rocker cover, oh how I do like a bit of bling

Lazy day in the office, despite being pebble dashed in old engine oil, oh ye! Forgot that I hadn’t drained the oil out of the engine before taking the flipping sump off. Despise knocking the sump with the 13mm socket before starting it bloody...

Defender 90, 1986 200TDi Hi all Thought I'd spend the evening fitting new Britpart seat covers to my Defender 90 seats. Watched the video and got stuck in, only to quickly realise that the guy in the video has not got the same seats as I have...

Found a groupon offer for aircon recharge at ats. £43 summit. System empty, which I knew, now nice and cold again but it won't last unless the leak that nobody can find has fixed it self.

The oil cooler went on mine a few years ago too. I don't think it's one of the coolers though as it really doesn't appear like there is any oil in the coolant. My slight worry is combustion stuff obviously. There is a dark residue in the bottom...

The tractor runs I do tend to be about 10mph. Which on my super is low third so works ok. But is a little fast for the friends fordson standard. A B275 is acceptable because it is not grey!

The 1.5hdi is a camshaft link chain thrower, they've now reverted back to a thicker oil and chain😩 I've got the 2.0hdi in my volvo/Ford focus based car. So far 210.000mls on it and it goes like stink tuned to 170bhp🫣 I think the handling comes...

Have a trawl around local garage workshops asking for wipers they've replaced. Then set up some sacrificial wiper blade 'artwork' to draw then away from your car.
