After you have fitted the new cups and clipped everything back together, tap around the uj head with a hammer it will realese any assembly tension. Hopefully that's all you need to do. The old phased or none phased question 😜

If it's it has the handbrake via the disks and not shoes then the rear brake action alone beds the pads Do you have rear brake drums in the center of the disks?

Short journeys and lack of use... If it's stop start vehicle then an Agm battery is a must, also a slow jump start could be their jumper pack, bad earths and a few things. I would look into finding out if the battery management needs resetting...

Appreciate it but I don't think it needed fixing; height sensor gives data, pressure adjusts according to requirement. More pressure=more height.
