Snot broked any more, I put a 25T shackle on it nearly good as new. Come to think about it I didnt test it, weapon of choice
was the sheer for the afternoons destruction. :D:D
If you want to have a look at a useless website, try the Teacher's Pensions one.
Can I log on to it? Can I flip.
They keep sending me codes that don't work.:mad::mad:
Aha an off road monstrosity 🤣
First job would be to disconnect the battery before it burns to the ground.
I am no electrician but would check out all main earths and main live cables. Wonder if there are any previous modifications that may be...
Whooooohoooo! Galvanized bits are back and looking bloody amazing! Apparently theres an extra levy on the standard galvanising service its called the silver service 😂 , or in this case a tip !
Yo!
I’ve decided I want to look like a rap artist / pimp so need to have me windows tinted on my L322, to protect me hoes and bitches, innit*.
Have any of you homies used these people...
Another fun day in land rover ownership.
Did a weekend camping at Overland 4x4 show...
No major issues only 60 miles up the road so no biggy..
Pottered round in it to the petrol station and the shops... Nipped 2 miles into town and pulled...

One of these kits. You can use the round bit and some m5 bolts (I think) as a make shift gear puller.
You can carefully lever it off with a pry bar but don't break the timing chest would be my advice.
I sure can I have plenty of washer bolts and bits and a nice mig welder so should be easy as a dab hand with a MiG too , will try this as seems easiest and fail. Safe too ,I'll get it ready in a bit for morning see how it goes but should be...
You'd never be able to drain through the filler hole I don't think.
But the weld-a-nut-to-the-plug idea isn't new. Somewhere I have a book that goes back to the dawn of time on welding that mentions all sorts of ways of using a welder to do just...
To me they are incredibly complicated and something I think might be a good idea may cost me badly.
Until I paid the mortgage off I couldn't really pay in enough but now I have some money spare I have found I can't pay in more. Something to do...
The weld idea is also a really good one that's a great idea ! I don't have a dipstick on the d4 but maybe could drain through filler hole ? Another thing to consider so that's 5 ideas that I'm sure one will work ! in morning I'll try will take...
Not really, I guess it depends on costs involved. In my mind it would be better to contribute more to a sum of money rather than starting again for 10 years.
The £500 initial fee I don't really have a problem getting my head round paying, less...
Im assuming you mean the plugs. But no probably not, they are stamped sheet metal. Id just get a short stubby galvanised bolt and turn it in there from below just to plug the hole and the galvanising will help keep rust at bay. They just standard...
The odds are that the VCU is knackered if its never been changed.
However, also make sure that the car has been maintained with the same make/model of tyres on all corners as a mismatched tyre has the affect of 'engaging' the VCU because the...
Had it recently.
I did the pair, then had to take one back off (the unbroken side) trying to track down a new knock when I replaced them. It’s currently got 1 new side and 1 original side on, with no discernible difference. I have the other ‘new’...
I recently replaced my fuel line with AN6 line on my P38 but that uses the bosch style quick connect fittings. So was reasonably easy to do.

If your pump uses the normal push on...
This is true, but it won't be 'freely' because it will also need to turn all the props, 2 diffs and another wheel. So it won't be like spinning the wheel on a 'normal' car, but it will turn quite freely.
Don't know the D4, but is there no chance of draining the sump via the dipstick hole?
I have been doing this on my D2 for a number of years for precisely the same problem as you have. It works fine, if a little tedious.
No one seems to have...
Those in red are threaded holes for cargo tie down points. They are surposed to have metal plugs insterted from below and then rubber coated over that but i assume yours have rusted away.
