Was it easy to get to? My RR is currently in lowered suspension mode which makes getting under it a little more tricky.

Get the exact model from the label on the pump. Then call X8R or 4x4-Airseals, and they will tell you what refurb kit to use. Prices range from £20 to £60 depending on whether it a Wabco or hitachi pump.

Good morning, time to change bearing and knuckle. Hope everyone is ok. Other car is getting water pump fixed and have been buzzing about in a wee fiat 500. All good until I was rear ended (I'm fine just stiff). It's been a shizz four weeks or...

Mine frequently over heated when chasing a wiring fault and re calibrating. But agreed it could also be weak.

It does take it a few cool downs to go from 0 bar to 13 bar

Had that go on mine and a slight wake up call from a small hammer got it going enough to get me to the local indi garage who fortunately had one in stock along with a spare ramp for me to chuck it on.

If your compressor is getting that hot trying to fill the tank & bags, it probably could do with a rebuild. Otherwise it will let you down & either fail or blow the fuse again.

Hey all, little update, I went to a LR garage today as I was passing and chatted to a technician. Really nice guy, he seemed to think the likelihood of it being ECU related was unlikely, he said in his experience it’s usually the fuel pump that’s...

I use either Nanocom, or a basic Bluetooth OBD reader to check temps after coolant system repairs. But generally only for the first few runs.

A friend of mine had a disco 3 and her experience put me off getting one. Aside from the ridiculous excise duty, it had two failed TDV6 engines. After the second failure, unsurprisingly it was sold. This is probably quite an extreme case but both...

So it is a hobby car then as you have a Subaru for normal duties. Suitable D2 on Def2.net for you at £2k. As for going to see some D3, how can you judge what a £3k vehicle looks like if you don't compare some? You either have the money or you...
