This one comes with Apple Carplay (or AndroidAuto for that matter). So it would use your phone's google maps. If that's inaccurate you need to calibrate the GPS on your phone, has nothing to do with the radio unit.
it uses phones map. so it is quite inaccurate. I don't know if it's because of the city and how small are roads, crossovers etc, but most phones I have tested have many meters difference, which makes them useless.

Yes it also has the flanges too as the intention for it was to go on a TD5 110, but that never materialised

Hello, I live in the Isle of Man and the authorities are asking for the vehicle price when new, for tax purposes. Anyone know where can find a 1991 price list. Thx
Excessive smoke, at least for road use. But you do get more power. Anyone who says you don't gain with smoke has not done an testing. All you have to do is look at diesels in motorsport where they aren't regulated to not smoke.

At this...
Well I guess it all depends on your mot tester, put it in for a mot and see what happens or book it in for a emissions test. That is the only way you will get a real answer.
Fair one. I've noticed some people don't realise they're terrible in Wales, Scotland, etc until they've fitted them, usually because people from flat country highly recommend them.
And yeah, great deal that.
What sticker is that? I don't think I have one. Won't they use set parameters rather than check the stickers? I don't know, just guessing. At least I don't have one but that's an interesting point. Cheers
I have messed around with mine many times over the years, always a juggle to get power and little smoke.
Always passes the mot, trick is to remove the sticker under the bonnet, no sticker means mot man has to use max figures (3 I think?) rather...
Big thank you to Saxavordian and Freddie17 for common sense advice. I think what worries me about the F2 is the engine. The BMW unit in my Serengeti is brilliant and I really would like a similar with more spec. I really don"t have any idea...
I live in East Yorkshire so really dead flat its an LT230 D2 transfer box the whole point is to quieten it down and improve MPG
The Defender transfer box revs incredibly high and its a bit loud, but with it being my daily this is meant to help...
Thanks. I am aware that it's unburnt fuel and on diesels it's not uncommon. I have fiddled with the settings but haven't gone overboard like altering the main fuel screw setting. As I said, I wanted some feedback if anyone ever had any MOT...
Thanks but I was not 'messing around' with it, I was following a tried and tested method which works well and many Defender owners do this. The steps were taken from a renowned Land Rover expert - It's nothing new. When these vehicles were built...
