you know that gear on the end of your mainshaft in behind the t,box inspection plate?

how do you go about changing that then?

Slob, I think that may be too technical.

No need to get shirty. Tek the transfer box out and take it to bits then put it all back together again with the new bit in and a few more new bits that you've either lost or knackered when you took it apart or decided were to worn to put back in. Then when you've got the vehicle going again and the first time you go over 42 miles an hour, your thinking did I tighten the "contra rotating sprag pin nut" up. You come to the conclusion that you should've got a recon box with a guarantee.
