Does anyone else start doing one job on their Defender, but end up doing half a dozen? I started off this morning with the intention of replacing my rear prop U/J, and then going off into the new forest with the dogs. After replacing the U/J, I remembered that my handbrake had been playing up after my last off road trip. So I thought I may as well strip it and sort it. After that, I remembered that my rear brakes had also not been performing at their best since the same trip, so as I already had the landy on the axle stands, I may as well strip & sort them. Whilst doing that, I noticed a little free play in the wheel bearings, so decided to sort that too, and then decided to check and adjust the other 3 while I was at it. So what was originally meant to be a 40 minute job sorting the prop, has turned into 3 and a 1/2 hours of fiddling, lubricating & adjusting.:):)

But now you've got the practice in, when shall I bring my defender down? :D
