Hi guys, I`m Pete from Halifax in West Yorkshire. I`ve been wanting a 4x4 for a while now and a mate was selling his P38 Range Rover DSE for a good price..so I went for it :D

It`s been partially modified..spring conversion,3" lift,de-catted and chipped with some nice meaty Insa Turbo`s fitted.

Nearly got over the top,but I lost grip and started to smell clutch.

Cant wait to get it to some 4x4 centres for a proper play!

Just afew question`s, the steering box leaks on it so I asked a mate to price up a replacement but he needs to know if its a 4 bolt or a 6 bolt box and I dont have a clue TBH. Could any of you helpfull chaps let me know?

Also, the previous owner tld me it was once featured in Land Rover owners magazine afew years ago when it had a winch and afew other toys fitted to it. I know its a long shot but would anyone know the issue number or even if its cropped up on the boards before?

Cheers peeps, Pete :)

Throw a capful of brakefluid into the Power steering fluid. It'll make the seals swell slightly and usually cures the leaks, unless it's really fooked.

to find out what box it is. Pop the bonnet and count the bolts on the top of the steering box
