hi all, any pointers as to getting my yellow light o work properly on the dash?
its a petrol engine thats got a Webber carb fitted, the original Choke cable has been changed to the webber type.
the yellow light is always on i have had a quick look for cable near the carb but nothing that looks like it controls the light.

any thoughts, :)

There's a wire from the fusebox to the bulb which then goes to the switch (white and blue) and then to earth (blue). The switch on mine was part of the choke cable inside the engine bay, the wiring went to earth via a thermal switch near the thermostat housing. I think the idea is that the light comes on when the choke is out and the engine is warm.....

If it's like on mine its a switch that is clipped to the cable and the clip fastened to the aux instrument panel. There is a plunger that goes goes into a hole when the choke is in. If the clip isn't on the cable right or a bit twisted it either doesn't come on when it should or is always on...

The whole thing is a bit crap and in the end I removed it!
