I've been a Land Rover owner with 5 new LRs in the last 15 years - but never again! I've now experienced their attitude to customers if you have a complaint. It is impossible to speak to anyone at Land Rover if you have a problem and their customer care is non existant. Does anyone know how to get a response from them? I've left messages with their callcentre, I've sent faxes, I've tried their callback service but nobody ever calls back and you can't get past their callcentre. Messages passed to their senior executives go unanswered. A very sad situation. Would appreciate a phone number if anyone has one! Perhaps a call to BBC Watchdog is the only way to get a response?

get a list of the company directors (companies house/online) and write to them all.
marking your envelope, private and confidential.

i find calling people never works, they can promise u this and that but never stay true to their word, and people avoid the calls.
in person u can make them deal with problems there and then. no running away from it all if ur holding a tyre iron against their crotch!!!

surprisingly as this might seem i find that after a few attempts at polite if you start yelling things like " bunch of ****ers" or incompetent arseholes" at them they usually sort things very quickly.

Strange, if someone tries this with me, hen they are soon geting a quick guided tour of the way out.

Best way is to tell the press and then take the vehicle to the factory gates and set fire to it. There was a guy did this to a Ford Escort at Dagenham years ago. In South Africa, there was a guy with an Isuzu 4x4 which ended up with a banana chassis who painted it in big letters 'THE WORST 4X4 BY FAR' and drove it around. He also had a website. GM took him to court twice and lost both times. He used to park the thing outside the stealers. Great fun :D

Here is a link to the supreme court ruling on this case:
