FORGET IT SEEN THE LIGHT A MOMENT OF CLARITY THROUGH THE ALCOHOLIC HAZE SOFT TOP WITH A FORWARD FACING SEAT JUST NOT SURE ABOUT SEAT BELT. ANY IDEAS.....? JUST THE RAMBLINGS OF A FOOOKED OF FOOK UP......
Hopefully i will not get torn into to many little bits!! I Have 300TDi defender 90 Truck cab, on a 95 plate. It has become obvious that it is not big enough for overweight me, child, dog and the wife!!!! So the wife has given me the nod!!! To try and find if anyone is up for swapping a 110 double cab or a county for a 90 truck cab.
She has had a lot of work done on her. new rear cross member from Pressbrake, new bumper from 300tdistu, new props front and rear, new roof lining, serviced on a regular basis, light bar, snow cowl, new oil pump, recent MOT, electrics overhauled, Snorkal, Wading kit, Waxoyled, rear work lamp, rear hoop bars, Rock sliders from Richmond shot blasting, Canvas Tonneau cover from sams trim, home made solid tub cover if needed, mesh grate tailgate and original, dixon bate tow plate, new exhaust manifold gasket there is probably more but i am buggered if i can remember!!!
Anyhow would anyone be interested in swapping a decent 110 for the above. I don,t really want to get rid of her but cannot see away around it. Ideas would be welcome if anyone can see a way for me to keep her. I know i can put a hard top on the back but the missus has worries about forward facing seats in the rear about it being legal and all that.... Help.........
