Our Y reg diesel freelander won't turn over. We get lights, ignition etc but only a reptative clicking when they key is turned. Ran really low on fuel so filled from a can. Is there a bleed valve on the pump or have we activated a fuel/ignition cut off by running so low. Am charging the battery just in case.....All suggestions appreciated

Yeah, TD4 is a self priming diesel unit but it can take a while to start after running low on fuel. If you have gone really low, well worth changing the fuel filter too.
