Sometimes my 90 wont start and needs to be bumped. Only happened twice so far (once at LZ 10 and last week) starts fine after the bump for weeks (without being bumped )

When I went to start it today, there was as short delay before anything happened (maybe a second). I think that's a sign it's about to happen again so this seems to be getting more frequent. As mentioned above, it starts no problem normally.

When this issue does occur, I turn the key and all the lights come up as usual but nothing, no noise, no starter, no solenoid.

Heard somewhere this is likely to be the ignition switch. It's not the battery.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Possibly, worth checking the exciter wire from ignition switch to solenoid and the spade connector. Assume you tried a jump lead from battery neg to engine?

its easy to change, in the end I got fed up with trying to sort the fault and dropped it at my mates garage and asked him to sort it.

not the answer you wanted to hear but thats what i ended up doing...

hopefully someone will have an idea of whats what. I will try and check what i ended up with.

OK thanks, I'll give it a go anyway. I'm sure i'll be ok as long as it doesn't decide to throw a wobbler :D
