wont go into gear

Ive got a 200tdi 90. Yestoday everything worked fine. This morning started up went into reverse with a clonk then it wouldnt go into 1st or any of the gears after a while i got first then when i went to change to 2nd it wudnt go in. If i turn it off you can move gear stick into any gear. put it in first clutch in and start it and off you go but still cant get into 2nd or back into 1st again.

The clutch seems to be working fine as once in gear if you leave the handbrake on bring the clutch up and half way up it will stall. so i presume thats fine.
Also if you try changing into gears without using clutch while your moving by tapping the throttle to match the speed and pop it in that doesnt work like that either.

Any surjestions

leaking clutch fluid, check the slave cylinder and master cylinder. is the clutch pedal wet???

Nope. if your in 1st and let the clutch out it works as it should. just going from neautal you cant get any gear

it has got the right oil in the box hasnt it its not too thick?

Sounds like a clutch problem. Leaking fluid, as Gspot says, - just try taking the clutch cap off, filling it up to the brim, and then changing gears on idle. Mine was really temperamental like this till i checked it, which seems to have sorted out the problem!
