wipers and paint code

I understand that later series 3 (mine is a 1982) should have 2 setting wipers, mine has the rotary fitting that operates the wipers at the same speed on both settings , any ideas ? , also paint code is missing , I hear there is a Landy website that can give you your paint code from reg does anyone have the link

My '80 certainly has two-speed wipers.

Check that somebody hasn't swapped in an older single-speed wiper motor and bodged the connections, and check that the switch is putting +12v out on different connections when turned.

Yep, my '81 does too. Take good care of that switch if you need to service it....the two speed switches are as rare as hen's teeth and expensive when you come across a 2nd hand one.
