Is there an adjustment to take up any of the play in the windscreen wipers on my 2003 TD5?
Somebody told me there's an adjustment on the motor unit.
The wipers flop down to the edge of the screen when not in use.
l have to take the dash out to wire up the heated screen, so will be an opportunity to look at the wipers as well.

Only the soft top dash needs to come off to wire up the screen, though you can do it by taking of the end caps, tis what I did, much less work!

As for the wipers easiest way would be just to unbolt the wiper arm off the front and move em round a little!

The only adjustment on the wiper motor is for the motor armature end float which won't be the issue you are having . Probably just worn wheelboxes and flexi.

OK thanks.
Good news about not having to strip it all down to fit the heated screen wiring!

Yup on a 2 wire screen the connectors are at each end, the drivers side is earth and you can earth on the bulkhead. The other is live, you should be able to feed to cable through from the center console to the passenger side.
