I have a 1973 Series III SWB. The bulkhead is galvanised but I have two issues with it:
1. The windscreen hinge posts are missing from the front face of the bulkhead - is there a hinge post that can be bolted on or do they have to be welded on?
2. The front vent flaps are missing together with the hinge pins. A solid plate is over each opening which appear to have been fixed prior to it being galvanised. Is it worthwhile cutting out these plates and bolting/welding new hinge pins or is it better to just open the windows for ventilation? The main reason for asking this question is because I feel the landy looks unfinished without the vent flaps.
