who has history!

Mine had full history when i got it, i had it serviced once by the guys who looked after it and did the lpg conversion, since then they dont seem to want to know.
i been doing it myself since then, oil n filter every 3000 miles or so, same for plugs too. every reciept has been kept and i keep a log of mileage for oil change reasons so i know when its due again!

anyone else do this?

p.s. after the trouble i had with the engine rebuilders i now cant stand anyone else getting involved mechanicaly with my motors, if you know what your doing no one can do as good a job as you on your own vehicle, i think!

I still don't have a P38 yet (beaten to the last one by 3 hours) but of the three I've seen none as had any history! The next one I've booked in to see apparently has FSH but that can be a bit of a wooly description it seems.

Mine had every stamp upto 74,000. Mostly from Land Rover Approved garages and Land rover speicialists. It was 76,000 when I got it and it's 81,000 now. I've done the oil and filters once so far. I think it's time I got on my back and greased anything that moves

I am not planning on selling it as a going concern. The way fuel prices are going I'll probably scrap (or at least trade it in for a few shillings) it when I need to get a new car.

I bought mine about 3 months back and it has full land rover service history, the last stamp is by Clive Sutton, the rest all by Land Rover. I havent done much of the driving as yet, probably about 2500 in 3 months till now and so lets see. Whats the best time to service, is it after every 7000-10000miles.

Hi, my range has FSH at LR up to when i got it back in nov 07. its a 2001 4.6 and the service book has 8 LR stamps. however when its next due i will take it to my local garage who i know very well,i know it breaks the LR history but they will charge me £180 for a full service.. big saving on main dealer..
