Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum - got an MY1997 Disco LPG V8 - and am seeking some advice. I've just started getting an odd whining noise in first gear. All the other gears are fine ... and can pull away in second with no whining. Is my first gear synchromesh failing??? And if so, what's the likely process/cost to fix it?
Any light anyone can shine on this would be much appreciated ...
