hi landy owners, can anyone help?
i have a 03 td4 serengeti that has done 64k,just lately she has developed a whine in first gear only when pulling away and up to 5-10mph.NO noise in reverse and if you put it in 2nd and crawl at same speed NO NOISE!
NOT clutch as you can pull away in 2nd and NO NOISE!
Increased pressure in front tyres to allow for tread lost compared to rears and NO DIFFERENT!
Jacked up front and rear seperatly and wheels turn freely with no nasty noises!
Has any one got any ideas? IDR? GEARBOX? OR JUST NOISEY 1ST GEAR?
