Which intercooler?

Trying to decide which intercooler to get for the 110.


There's these three different ones

Fast road one by Serch from Paddocks???
Fast Road Intercooler Defender TD5 and 2.4 TDCI

The the usual Britpart ones and Allisport ones like these

Britpart Intercooler for Defender Td5
AlliSport Land Rover Defender TD5 (non AC) Intercooler Kit

Although the Britpart one is cheaper, I still think the Allisport one is worth the bit extra.


Just wondering if the Paddocks one is any good or is it too good to be cheap with how cheap it is? Anybody know how many cooling fins per inch the Britpart and Allisport coolers have?


The tidiest one out of the three would be ideal too as space is very tight with my winch as its recessed into the grille abit. Was going to see could I get one like an Auto Disco version but looks like the full size cooler will just about fit in.

Also I found this one on eBay, wonder how it stacks to the competition? Makes some bold claims.

Obviously this is a 200tdi, was just looking at some myself though!

Dave look at the ones that have a little more space between the rows of fins as mud and **** get in there and harder to clean. They make a sport and off road model

Its a pain in the tits gettin the shizer out after a day in the mud. Get a full size one so its spread out more and the gaps bigger, will also be better for cooling when it int caked in mud innit

Get a supra one from a scrappy and make it fit, same cooling as a massive ali's port one but a fraction if the price, wait till you see the one that's going on my 90

Not done the mod to the IC yet but as ya can see it's working fine on the Rad..

110 won't be playing in the mud too much to be honest as I'll have a 90 trayback dedicated to that cause built in a month or two. 110 will only ever be doing light green-laning really.

After the most power and cooling I can get really so the more fins the better really

Supras in scrappies be pretty thin on the ground over here... without trying to find one with a standard intercooler
