where to get recovery strop from

they are a lifting company that supply all the slings for hss, speedy and all the other lifting companies. the lad that owns it is into offroading in a bag way and he can make up near enough any length or spec you want.
every firm i've worked for uses him, his stuffs spot on and certified
 
With regards the steering guard and recovery point queries .......

I have seen folks weld the original towing brackets from the rear of a Disco (egg shaped with one small hole and a larger one for the shackle) onto their steering guards ......... would this be ok as i'm thinking of doing it to the Mrs's Disco:confused:
 
Nah go to a proper chain, sling lifting place and buy a pair of lifting eyes. they are available as either weld on or with a threaded section so you can bolt them on.
