Where is the OBD port on a 2002 TD4 and what software can be used

I'm new to the freelander and wanted to know where the OBD diagnostic port was situated on the car?

Also what software and interface can I use?

I'm used to having a BMW and am familiar with the EASY DIS diagnostic software running from a laptop.

Is there anything similar for the Land Rover Freelander?
