I have 30mm spacers on mine and they allowed me to fully wind in the steering lock stop things.
If you get spacers, make sure they are hub centric ones.

How far in can you wind the lock stop bolts in, with the standard "boost alloy" wheels? As in how many threads still showing or how much thread in mm?
As my 110TD5 has the turning circle of an oil tanker.

Good question will be looking at that tomorrow,my turning circle is similar, feel a bit stupid doing three point turns out of my drive every morning :).

Hi thanks for the reply, have you found it improves your turning circle/maneuverability ?.
Yeah, it is loads better with the stop locks wound in. I mean still don't expect to drive straight into a parking space, but it is greatly improved :D

I think with alloys and no spacers you can't wind them in that much. The easiest way is to put it on full lock and see how much leeway you have before it touches stuff.

not a direct comparison but a disco with free style alloys and a 90 with same alloys and 30mm spacers the defender has a significantly better turning circle.
