Hi all

I'm going to try and put 5 pictures up and ask wot you think the problem is, if it works that is, i haven't put many pics up or done it for ages...hold on

Seems to work...I've tried looking but I wanted to double check that you all think this is a leaking manifold gasket. It starts above the head gasket...hang on

that was quick, no mate its oil. It started with really fresh oil but now looks older cos the leaks older, I'm trying to put other pics up but I pad is playing up

This is further back, only noticed this today. Sorry pics aren't that good, I should not of used the torch. I know my filler cap is leaking into the cover so weather this could be leaking back out here like it is onto the manifold top I don't know

Aaaaaahhhhhhhh, now I can't get writing to cum up on same post as the pics

One is obviously the oil in the cover but that is not the main leak on the first pic or the second. The last pic is something different. This might sound really daft but could the head be porous...ya can't really tell on that pic but there is that newish leak but there is nothing round it so???

Thanks for your patience, and any help

Towsey

I would advise cleaning/degreasing all the areas that are currently oily and leaving the insulation jobber off that way you should be able to tell what's leaking and where from. Brake cleaner is quite good for breaking oil down :p

Yeah I had the cover off for a while and cleaned it off a bit since and I think it's only effecting the top of the inlet and the wire for the sensor, I think the rest is good old oil leaks

Thanks

Towsey

I have similar oil down the side of my block like you have in the picture between the alt and manifolds. I think on mine it is because of a leaking rocker cover gasket. I just ignore it.
