what tyres ?

what tyres do you all run ?
are they any good ?
i'm gonna need some before the end of the year , been looking at the greenway anacondas , i know there only remoulds , but i can only stretch to about 60 squids each tyre , on the website they say 80% off road , 20% on , anyone running with these , or can any of ya recommend one in me price range , cheers y'all

Hi I have just had some Hercules Merit 235/85x16 all country tyres fitted to my disco 1 ( very chunky ) and am over the moon with them. Done a bit of homework before i bought them and they do seem to be quite a good buy £287 for all four fully fitted.

I've got Amazon MT remoulds on me 90 - cost me £50 each and they're great, both on and off road.

yer, the amazons look good as do the greenway macho's. stay away from grizzly claws and maybe even bronco as a trading company.

Got a set of BFGoodrich MTs in 265/85 size, almost new. they cost £110 a tyre! currently fitted on TD5 white steels.

Im after £250 the set of 4

I've got BFG m/t. 265/75/16 on me 110. They are superb off road but leave a lot to be desired under hard braking on wet tarmac.

Forgot to say, they're BFG M/T's. Duhh!!

I've got 275/70 R16 Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow on Disco 1 rims for normal road use & 7.50 R16 Michelin XCL on lwb rims for off road.

Standard Series III 88" Diesel.

I got the Pirelli's for nowt, only done 1000 miles. They're great, especially in the wet. The XCL's are pretty unstoppable off road.
