What is the best sealant for landie roof's?

Hi was going to have a go at my leaky gully's on my series land rover just wondering what the best sealant to use. It was previously siliconed but that seems to lift and peel after a while someone showed me some German stuff at a classic car show onetime but I can't remember what it was called. Thanks Edd
