On the underside, middle to front of the car above each exhaust there is a length of silver material held in place by a couple of push clips. One of mine has fallen off but I don't know what it is called so sourcing a replacement is difficult.
Anybody know what it is called and also what is it's purpose? Is it silver to deflect heat or is it some kind of sound proofing?

It's heat reflective material and I think they are described as heat deflectors. One of mine dropped down onto the propshaft a few years ago, I thought the transfer box had gone with the noise !! Managed to get one from a breakers in good condition and used
M6 nuts and large washers on the studs to hold it.
