What is a high mileage for a 3.5 carb?

PS. No way do you need to change the cam chain at 50k, not even run in, the cam chain is good for 100+k, my 110 HT had 157,000 on the clock before the engine was pulled due to a collapsed hydraulic cam follower/chocolate cam.

Its a chain not a bl***y rubber band..

it takes a lot of abuse to kill a v8. my last engine done 268.000 miles and the engine still had life in it.

But if you just want an good engine to put in a landy then I do have one if you are interested, It had covered 59.000 miles but it does need a little bit of a rebuiltd but I do have all the stuff to rebuild it
