It’s a 90. Steering damper conversion ? Do you mean the clip kr bracket that goes onto the bars ?

Not sure on the swivel at first i thought it’s my oil cooler pipes as I know one has a split in it so it’s ****ing out that side which I need to do. I’m hoping it’s just the rain outside

    ??
Watch out for some 'steering dampers' which are just shock absorbers..... a steering damper doesnt try to spring open, it just has resistance in both directions.

The drag link doesn’t affect the tracking, the rear one does. Your steering wheel could be off a bit though

Out again for a drive. Once it was filled up drove like a wobbly pig. (Extra 700kgs in back) Off to search web/Indy shop for prices of shocks

Fitted a rear door gas strut... Got to be one of the best things I've done yet. Not sure how I've lived without it. Also sorted some bits out for the MOT and put on some new pads !

Not today but last Thursday took Norman the 90 for the French equiv' of the MOT.
Passed :D:D:D:D:D:D the only advisories were for dents in the bodywork and doors FFS, they are meant to be there, they are honourable battle scars. Norm has had a fair old time playing/working in the woods.

The 90 went in to a local Indy to have two new chassis legs and front crossmember welded on. Not looking forward to the bill though…:(

Collected the 90 from. The local Indy guy who did the welding. It cost just over £1200, which was a bit more than I initially bargained for. However, he did the job properly, stripped the wings, radiator panel, radiator and some other parts off to get to it. The welding is a very tidy job which I’m impressed with. He painted it then treated it with dinitrol and fitted my replacement galvy bumper. The bumper has finished the front end off nicely too!
Next job, the MoT later this week…

They shut fine. It’s just the rust in the lower door frames that are the issue…

A couple of advisories. A loose mud flap (!), the tow bar slider not fitted at time of test and slight play in one wheel bearing. I’ll take that! :D

With the welding done, a service, MoT and shiny galvy front bumper fitted, it’s good for another twelve months of Landy driving!:)

Thought towbars were not an MOT for older motors?
