what battery?

hi i think i need a new battery. which size should i get?

this is a photo of the infomation on my current battery...
is this one right?? i have a feeling it may be too small?

way too small. book says a 107 amp, i put a 110 into mine and also my cousins and its perfect.

I thought so. im reguarly having to get the jump leads out! i have to be careful if i listen to music or play around with the electric seats while the engines off.

plus im in the process of putting in a high end audio setup. i want to be able to play it, without it dieing all the time?
should i get the 110. or is there bigger ones which would suit me?

what are the best places to buy batteries? how much am i looking at?

Knowing your location would be a plus Paul, but I've got a VARTA 110Amp on mine ...

It was only £20 more than the aftermarket alternative , plus go for a discount as no money is coming through the doors at land rover at the moment

Paulham - you don't say whether you have a petrol or doozle. I have a petrol but I went for the doozle battery which is about a quarter the size again over a petrol and, like Willos above, only around twenty quid more. No problems since. Well worth it.

No no, just when you're looking at batteries, look at the ones specified for the diesel. They're generally a lot more heavy duty to be able to crank over a diesel when it's stone cold. Mine gets left for weeks at a time and there's still no problems starting when I come to it. (I suppose I must be fortunate too in that I don't suffer from the BeCM being woken up by spurious signals received by the fob radio receiver. Either that or it was upgraded to the new one. Never had it out to check).
Anyways, with batteries, you get what you pay for. Also look for a three year warranty too.
