Has anyone retro fitted one of these? I am sure they have but the search function isn't working again

Looking to fit one to my TD5 Defender, would they be the same as the D4 ones? I'm wondering if I could get one second hand from a breaker if so

Are you just wanting cabin heating from a diesel fueled heater, if so I was looking on YouTube last night and there were some reviews of a Chinese copy that was only £120 for the full kit and they were great and very well made. Identical to a £1000 kit from eBay.

I haven’t seen a £1000 kit but what I’ve seen was quite expensive. The reason I was looking into it was more to assist in cold starts

Ok you want an engine coolent heater then to preheat overnight. Which is not the same thing I was looking at. But these could be used if warm air was directed into the engine bay but it would be a lot of wasted heat. These are more for space heating.
