Hi all

Just looking at getting either a pair of waffle boards or a pair of sand track, anyone got any thoughts on either of these and also were to mount them, any photos would be great.

Not long to go now!!!! 7 weeks and counting!!!!!

Get waffles if you have to use them on sand put a folded blanket under them to stop the them disappearing into the sand. Oh and fit a lanyard to them anyway to make em easier to extract from the mud/sand.

I just got a couple of exmil sectional ladders in ali , useful for getting on roof rack, very light , easy to carry. Mine slide under roof rack from rear . just tie a bit of rope to them so that as you drive away they follow without you having to stop once you have got going . They worked well in Ozzie sand so would probably do same in african sand as well :D

Thanx for the info fella, lets just hope the work as well in the mongolia sand and mud, i would imagine it be similar to the africa sand. :tea:

Solution I think. My ones work well in snow. Did not tested in sand and mud yet but it looks like it will work. Being owner of 90 I get used to fight for every inch of possible space.

Thanks

They look interesting if a bit expensive! They certainly are small and neat but once covered in mud I think I would want to store them outside the car rather than inside so the size isn't so important.
