Hi all,
I have just bought a second hand Vogue 2004 auto petrol and I have a problem, I cannot turn off the HDC, the switches by the gear leaver will not move. I do have the hand book but it does not explain clearly what to do to disengage the HDC.I have tried putting the car in neutral and pressing the brakes but the small leaver by the front passenger seat will not move it is in the forward position the small lever the transfer gear switch next to it is in the forward position as well.
I have also tried to move the HDC switch whilst moving at approx. 10-15 MPH.
The brakes keep cutting in when I go down hill and I am very worried about this as it may cause an accident as it cuts the speed and vehicles behind be have to slow down quickly as well.I would really appreciate any help with this.
