Classic VM glowplugs

Not really noticed till the other day but, while having a fag break from faffing about with the turbo on Buttercup, I was having a look at the location of the glowplugs. How the hell do you (well me really) go about changing them?
Its a 2.4 VM, looks to me as if the FIP has to come off first, anyone any experience of doing this job?

From memory I did mine without removing the fip double deep socket,wobble bar or .uj required or possibly a ring spanner.good luck

Thanks for that, I'll have a good look before winter starts to bite, at least given me the confidence to have a go.
edited to say just had a look online and they certainly arn't as long as some I've seen, so there is hope as you say.
