I had a vibration under acceleration from around 35mph-50mph I thought is was just wheel balance so got all four balanced and it seemed slightly better but it was still there, I noticed tonight under fairly heavy acceleration you did notice it but when I came off the gas it was quite dramatic and fairly heavy knocking under gentle acceleration there is nothing when you come off the gas. Is the prop the likely culprit.

It possible and easy to check. So I guess best poke your self under there and see what waggles that shouldn't:D

Also, pop your head out of the window while moving slowly, look down at the front wheel and tap the brakes sharply. Watch the front wheel movement. The rear most front control arms have really soft and open bushes and can give similar symptoms. I think it's a one piece prop under yours?

Thanks Mark, I think you could well be right as it is not doing it all the time and when climbing the hill back to ours it's at it's worse. I will check that out thank you.

Your welcome, check the prop also, as suggested. The joint at the back of the transfer box in particular.

Many thanks Mark, I have a 2004 V8 L322 I feel it is steering related as I was out today and it seems worse in bends. Which I had not noticed before so I will will have a good look when it dries up here the weather is horrendous.
