Hello to everyone,

I have a freeland 1, and i love it 240000 km. I know it sounds weird, but i can explain - the vcu is off.
I like many other freelander 1 owners would love to know if we could replace that garbage vcu with something else, it is expensive to repair, especially were i live, its unreliable, and only last a few km.

Can we fit an hadex 3 awd system to it???
Maybe its a stupid question for all, but i would love to know if there is something.

I like many others have seen the tegralok video, but never saw it for sale, i dont know if its a false video.

I ask for help in this forum, running on 2wd for a while, and i would love to get back on awd with having to pay 700 euros.
Plus my freelander does not value the price.

Import it from the UK for half the price?

Well, my freelander is left hand drive, and tge vcu coming from the uk, there the shipping fee that makes the same price. I still ask if we can remove it somehow and replace it with another system like the haldex in the freelander 2

Welcome to the forum

It's going to be a lot more eggspensive to fix a haldex and engineer it to work, than replace the VCU many times.
