hi i run my v8i on gas and have had no end of problems....
im currently runnin a landy renzo single point injection and every time it starts to run a bit rough it backpops up the airflow pipe and rips the rubber pipe between the airflow meter and the single point injection!!!!
3 times this has happened so i always carry a spare!!!!!
now i know when on gas the setup has to be 99.99% perfect or it misfires and blows up the airbox...(k&n filter now instead)but my question is this... how often should i replace the rotor arm, dizzy ht leads and sparkplugs????
as ive said 3 times this has popped on me and 3 times i have changed all the plugs leads etc i have swapped them for original landy parts and gkn sparkplugs!!!!!
does anyone else have similar problems ????
if so how did they cure them or is there any other ht leads that will last a bit longer?????
thanks in advance arca

It seems to be specific to the early engines, but it might be worth just popping a bit of what you found here so others can learn/refer to it.

id love to peter but dont know how to drag the threads onto here sorry
i used the search bar and searched for magnecor leads...or v8 lpg problems

as an afterthought of it being specific to early engines i think its more specific to the earlier single point lpg systems... they are certainly not as forgiving as the multipoint systems are
