.Hello all,I will soon be getting the timing belts changed on my 2001(51) are there any other parts that it would be advisable to change when there replaced?.I have a 2.5 V6 its done 40000 miles fsh,6 years old in November.Registered new on 28/11/2001 will it be a 2001 or 2002 model year?,and how could I tell the difference?.What mileage/age should the belts be changed?,opinon is varied over this but mostly say 72000miles or 6 years whatever is soonest.Probably will get done at lr main dealer costing a fortune,but needs must,any good independants in Glasgow,eastend if possible?.Sorry for all the questions but I love my hippo and want to treat it well,thanks for any help/advice..
