Hi is it possible to insure a snatch land rover based on its chassis number to permit transport from docks to home.

I insured mine on the chassis number through Adrian flux. They were fine with it and injust updated them with the reg number when I got it off the dvla

They may "insure" it but this may be for transportation purposes only, ie: On the back of a trailer. Not sure about driving without MOT unless you were taking it directly to the MOT garage on the same date as a pre-arranged test.

Best to ask the man in the know, would be the smart thing to do. How many insurance eggspert do you think are on here?

Thats what I thought, technically you could insure anything but read the small print.
