Unleaded?

Recently acquired a v8 110 with lpg conversion. Been told to start and run till warm on petrol the switch to gas. Previous owner started on gas from cold. Wanting to start on petrol but don't know if 1989 F reg v8 runs on leaded or unleaded. No response from previous owner. Please advise.

would have thought for that year it was capable of running on unleaded. however, can you be certain it is the original engine, or more importantly, the original heads ? Think there is some kind of mark on the head which denotes harder valve seats. Would need the engine no. to be sure.
