Hi all my disco 2 has a puncure again. And eh guess what its in the edge so not repairable. So ive decided to change my tyres. Problem is im on the 18" rims the tyre size is 255 55 r18 and i think i need tyres that are good for road use but ok on rubble as my motor is always on rubble and loose tracks and road as opposed to wet mud so i guess the tyre wants to be tough. The goodyear wrangler hp that are fitted at the mo are pretty rubish to be honest but good on the road but seem to tear out easily. Has any one got any good recomendations for different tyres? Have been thinking about Maxxis a771 or general grabber 2s.

Grabber 2's seem highly recommended but also heard good things about these Michelin Latitude Cross 255/55 R18 109 H XL, DT » Oponeo.co.uk
They used to be standard fitment to defenders so I guess they're fairly rugged

Grabber ATs are the replacement for the AT2s. Ive had both types on 18"s as well. I really cant fault them. Much much better than the Goodyear Wranglers I used to have and will last more than twice as long in my experience.
