Yeah, with car tyres I used to bounce them on the floor to get the last bit of bead to 'pop'......and don't the pop sometimes!

Yep All I do with me landy tyres is bounce em till they pop on..

That Hi-Lift looks familiar pikey its working ok then?

Is getting the tyre on as easy as getting it off? If i can manage this, i will take a 2nd spare tyre (without rim) on my next adventure.

Yep easy peasey. getting the tyre on. Get yourself a long tyre iron, makes it easier still.

Oh and make sure you're not trying to fit the tyre over the long side of the well as you won't do it. (Don't ask me how I know :doh: )


Hi-lift has had a fair bit of use since I got it cheers.

Gettin them on no bother ITS gettin the beggars off thats the problem im in the lucky position of havin a mate with a tyre bay and i am able to borrow his machine and somtimes you cant shift em it takes a couple of goes with the machine specially when they have bin on a while and are a bit rusty its damed hard work .ok when your gettin on a bit orright orright i know im a old git but i do have all the gear so youll just av to lump it so there!
