Two spare plugs

I've just replaced my heater matrix on my disco 2 v8, on putting the car back together I have two wiring plugs that I am unsure about.

first one is in the steering coloum, white plug with a few wires coming out of it, no where on the stalks behind the steering wheel can I find a plug for it to go into.

second is a two wire connecter underneath the centre console to the side of the auto box selector leaver.


anyone got any ideas?

Think I have found what they are for.

they are for the NAS market that has an interlock on the gearbox to stop you selecting out of part without the key in and foot on brake.
