I'm getting a whining noise from my engine bay. it's something new that happened last week.
it's worst above 2k revs, made me think it's the turbo.
Some one said that the bearings can go and you can check 'em.
whats the best way? just undo the pipe and have a feel about inside or take it right off?
you know how you get used to the sound of your own car, strange noises usually = cash in the money pit!

, I'm changing the hoses next weekend and have been told that if that does not bring back the "whistle" then it might be the bearings that are knackered.
