Hi i recently had to change the vacum pipe which runs from the turbo to the throttle housing unit.

And also replaced the header tank as it was leaking on the weld seam.

Whilst the headertank was off, i took the cover off of the throttle unit to make sure it was all ok and clean inside.

Heres the problem tho, the rubber/steel diaphram that you see under the cover, I can't remember where the position should be.

the steel part has a punch hole stamped into it, and as far as i know i think it needs to be pointing towards the bulkhead. so about 10 o'clock position?

At the moment i have it at about 11;30-12 o o'clock, but the landy is now puffing out smoke under acceleration (well more than it ever uesd to)

could anyone just confirm this, as i did read it affects the amount of fuel to boost ratio of something, and im obviously over fueling at the mo.

heres as pic of the throtle unit so you know what im describing.
